About
A bit about me
University Park, PA
I'm Vivek Patel, a Computer Science major and Economics minor at Penn State. I like building things people actually use — and understanding the market they land in as much as the stack they run on. That mix is the whole point for me: CS to ship a real full-stack product, Econ to reason about why it wins.
Most of what I build starts with one question — where's the leverage? With Front Run, an autonomous AI SDR my team built at an AWS hackathon in SF, the answer was speed: the moment a startup raises, a short, high-intent buying window opens, so we scrape SEC filings the same day and reach them on day zero. My OCR pipeline at Penn State quietly moves well over a thousand packages a day for a 70,000-student campus. At HackMIT, IdeaStruct turned messy ideas into queryable knowledge graphs.
I'm happiest owning something end-to-end — the outreach loop, the integration work, the deploy — and I care about a product being genuinely good, not just done. I'm looking for product engineering work where building fast and thinking clearly about the market both count.

There's a person behind the commits. Off the clock, I recharge with a few reliable things — swap these out for whatever's actually yours.
